Oprah to Gov. Palin: Get Lost

No surprise here:

Oprah Winfrey, America’s favourite daytime TV star, has refused to have Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin as a guest on her talk show.

Winfrey, a prominent supporter of Democratic nominee Barack Obama, has been facing pressure from conservative commentators and pundits who say that Palin would be a perfect interview for her female-heavy audience. Read it all.

It would seem that the heartwarming story of a mother of five, Governor, and candidate for the second highest office in the country would be something her audience would be interested in watching. But then, unlike Oprah Winfrey and Sen. Barack Obama, Gov. Sarah Palin never attended Trinity United Church.

Now I know why I never liked Oprah and have never watched her show,. She is a Raciest if there ever was one. I am embarassed that she is from Mississippi. All she does is buy her audience.

well said frankie. hats off to you.

We, as Bible believing Christians, need to stand up for our Lord Jesus Christ…. His word says, “If MY people, which are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 This world is getting worse every day…just how much will God take before He pours out His wrath upon this country? I believe He’s just about had enough and our country is fixing to find out whose really in charge…We have excluded Him in our schools, our government our homes and hearts.. Its never too late for change. And the only change this country needs is Jesus Christ!

Disgusting pair of hypocrites. Goes to show you that racism is a one way street where the blacks are concerned. The appalling thing is that a great portion of the US population wants this lying jerk as President.

  5. Lou Vasquez Says:

This is the reason why I believe Obama should not be elected.
This picture is like school kids in a playground, there’s a time and place for everything.
Us Americans are very concerned about this election and would like to vote for a new President based upon what and who is best for the country. Not based on who likes who better.
I think powerful people should stay clear of favoritism and focus on the record of past. (So easy to say and sometimes hard to do)
    I do agree;
Oprah has and is doing a lot for present and the future problems of the world.
    But:
We Americans should look at the future and concentrate what we have to do as a nation to achieve our future realistic goals.
Number One: Establish what they are.
Number Two: Stick to achieving them and accomplish them accordingly.
By the way: Help America First

  6. Just a voter Says:

I don’t watch Oprah anymore. I haven’t for a long time. The day she said there are many paths to “God” (which one? made up to suit oneself, or the God of the Bible…

  7. Just a voter Says:

to finish, that day is the day I thought Oprah has lost her way. There is a lot of new age thinking and teaching, many threads borrowing from other “religions”. Sorry, she knows better. “Thou shalt have NO other gods before me. Oprah came from humble roots and is a remarkable woman. Yet, she has strayed from her religious roots/upbring ….down there in Mississippi.
Also, take a look at the picture above. Look at Obama’s wife’s face. Rather humorous, revealing look. A picture is worth a thousand words. Obama is a very intelligent person. Yet, there seems to be a lot of talk regarding change, but where is the HOW? This Nation is in trouble. I will line up with Linda, above. Who states God’s answers in the Scriptures, as to how we can, as a United Nation turn back to The Real God, through His only begotton son, Jesus. It is too late to discover a mistake is just that after we leave this present life. This Nation is right before having the Wrath of God poured out upon them, unless we repent and turn back to Him.
