Did Barack Hussein Obama just call Gov. Sarah Palin a Pig?

Breaking!!!

Governor and Vice-Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin made reference to the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull last week at the Republican convention:

“I was just your average hockey mom. I love those hockey moms, you know, they say, what is the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick.”

Today, Barack Hussein Obama, apparently looking at the recent polls indicating a massive loss of support from women, decided to throw a “Hail Mary” pass. Right into the opposition end zone:

“You can put lipstick on a pig,” he said as the crowd cheered. “It’s still a pig.”

The crowd cheered. Way to go Barack. Piss off 51% of the electorate with a hateful, sexist comment. Someone stick a fork in him, he’s done.

If his treatment of Senator Hillary Clinton is not proof enough of his attitude toward woman, this should be the final straw.

I WILL NOT BE VOTING FOR OBAMA BECAUSE IT TAKES MORE THAN CHARISMA TO WOO ME. HE ISN’T PRO LIFE AND THAT DOESN’T HELP, EITHER. I AM REGISTERED INDEPENDENT AND HAVE BEEN FOR 25 YEARS. THE CANDIDATE WHO WINS MY VOTE WILL NOT RESORT TO PARTISAN JABS WHICH SHOW AN INCREDIBLE LACK OF CONFIDENCE IN WHAT THEY STAND FOR AND/OR CAN OFFER AS FAR AS CHANGE GOES. I MEAN REALLY, TO FIXATE ON MCCAIN’S RUNNING MATE BY TEARING HER DOWN AND DESPERATELY TRYING TO FIND SOME SKELETON IN HER CLOSET TO DISCREDIT HER ONLY DEEPENS THE UNEASY FEELING I HAVE ABOUT THEIR ABILITY TO LEAD THIS COUNTRY AND BRING ALL THIS CHANGE, IF ELECTED. I’VE HEARD ALL THIS RHETORIC BEFORE.

Please do not allow yourself to be drawn into purposefully adolescent misinterpretations and name-calling. Obama’s comment was directed to McCain’s policy stances, which McCain was trying to say would comprise “change.” Obama was using a stock phrase (also used by McCain) to say that McCain’s policies would be the same as Bush’s, i.e., would be “lipstick on a pig.”
