WASHINGTON – Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden found himself in an embarrassing situation during a Missouri campaign appearance Tuesday.
During a stop in Columbia, Mo., Biden was speaking before a large crowd when he decided to give special recognition to State Senator Chuck Graham.
“Chuck, stand up, let the people see you,” Biden shouted.
However, Biden did not realize that Graham is confined to a wheelchair.
“Oh, God love you. What am I talking about? I’ll tell you what, you’re making everybody else stand up, old pal. I’ll tell you what, everybody else stand up for Chuck. Stand up for Chuck!” Biden said. source
Clueless Joe, in a position a-heart-beat-away from the Presidency. That’s scary.
He must have accidentally been handed the Obamessiah speech. Obama can raise up the halt, stop the oceans from rising, and change water to wine.

I think it’s great that a wheelchair is not a “stop and stare” for Joe Biden. For Biden, apparently, Graham stands as tall in a wheelchair as anyone on two feet. It’s the rest of the audience who saw the wheelchair and not the man.

Yup, for a paraplegic (Wiki) Chuck seems to get around pretty good:
On October 20, 2007, Graham was arrested by Columbia Police on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after rear-ending a vehicle near his home in Southwest Columbia. His license was subsequently suspended.

On the same day Biden asked MO state senator Chuck Graham who is confined to a wheelchair to “Chuck, stand up, let the people see you.” The Obama people made fun of McCain not using a computer in a national TV buy… McCain can not use a keyboard because as a POW his fingers and hands were crushed. Look it up on google. During the 2000 election both the Boston Globe and Slate coved this. The next two days of news will now be about yet another misstep and Obama will drop 3 – 5% in the polls. Unreal and very sad… Obama’s people just mocked a cripple who received his disability being beat up as a POW???
