Trashed

Hope! Change! Trash!

Hope! Change! Trash!

According to the Associated Press:

As crowds cleared the city Tuesday, their trash covered the National Mall and Washington Monument grounds after President Barack Obama’s inauguration.

They left behind plastic bottles, newspapers, food wrappers, gloves and even American flags they had been waving. Trash bins overflowed with items people tossed.

  1. Hope Says:

They came from hundreds of miles to witness the historic event; from many states, by car, by bus, some by private jet. Not content to simple absorb the words of their new leader, to revel in the enormity of the moment, they felt a burning need to leave behind their own personal monument to the day.

…and what do these people expect is going to happen? Changes? Take a look at the enire Obama’s cabinet formed by former Clintonians and you expect changes? And for those unamericans who booed former President Bush, shame on you, history has not been written yet and in the future take your trash with you to your own hometown.
